De Anne's & Avah's Shower
OK, I have to say..I LOVED this shower!!! I love all showers, but you know what made this a little different? My dear friend of 12 years is having her second baby and they are 10 years apart!!! When we were 17 she had her son and for the past 10 years I have seen her grow as a mother, person, wife, and nurse. Now she is ready for ANOTHER and to add to that... it is a GIRL!!! Avah Grace will be her name and she is due 2 days before my other dear friend Beckster is due. The shower was held at 5:00 on Sunday night and everything was flowers and pink!! Her mom and aunts had a 'soup bar' and once we were done with the soup we got to take the bowl home..way too cute! Salad and cornbread topped the dinner off, but the red velvet cupcakes were the icing on the entire night (of course I did not touch it). Of course, I can never just sit at things like this, so I did the games and helped as much as they would let me. I am just so happy for De Anne and her family! Happy in a I cry every time I leave her!!!
Pumpkin Patch Fun
We headed over to the famous Irvine Park for some time with the pumpkins, see other kids, take a train ride, have some bounce house fun, embark on a dizzy maze, look at the ponies, wanting to go on a hay ride, and see more pumpkins. It was so nice to have Derek be able to come with us to the pumpkin patch to see the kids run around and ride the choochoo with them. This is sad to say, but this was the first time we had been to the pumkin patch since we have been together...and yes that means since having children as well!! We always try to head up the street to Irvine Park, but things always get in the way. SOOOO, this year I made it a must. However, it was like 98 degrees, so that really stunk. Is it really late October?? My grandma talks about cutting wood and buying a pelate stove and I can not help, but laugh at how hot it is here!!! At the park the kids ran around till their little cheeks turned pink and they were both trying so hard to lift up the 'big' pumpkins. It was so funny. Afterwards we went to lunch and now all we have to do is carve the pumpkins...but that is for tomorrow:)
UFC Fight Night
"The Girls"
"What do I call us?" haha
"The Boys"
On Saturday we decided to have a few people over to watch the UFC fight, drink, eat, and chat the night away. Emma and Drew were the only kiddo's, so that was nice just to put them down to sleep and hang out with ADULTS! I think that the fight was a disappointment (according to the guys), but the pizza and Sara 2's six layer were both fab and EVERYONE went home responsibly. It was a great time and one that needs to happen a little more often in the Lee house:)

Meeting with an old friend
The one thing that I have to say about re-joining Facebook, is that I got to meet up with my long time ago friend, Darci. I was scared to send her a message at first, but I did it (and to 2 other people) and my fright was for nothing...I talked to her on the phone the next day for a long time and today I went to her house to see her and her daughter Gwen. I had such a great time catching up and seeing our little one's play like they had been old pals...well Drew was kind of a pain for me. I felt as though I had never stopped talking to her, but man our lives have changed!! I can honestly say I had more fun during my short visit with Darci then I did at my reunion. I am so excited for next week when we get together again!! Thank you Darci
High School Reunion
Well the day came and went..my 10 year High School Reunion. The kids were down at Emilee and Chris's house for the weekend, so I was able to get my hair done, go shopping, and actually get READY for something!!! Too bad I forgot to take pictures! haha so sad, but oh well. I met up with Mar (and her Sam) and Max at Mar's parents house for a few drinks, then we got dropped off at The House of Blues in Anaheim for drinks and some light food. I have to say it was hard for me in a way because Derek had a HUGE job to do all weekend therefor he could not attend, but I did my best. I had a somewhat good time, chatted with a lot of people, found out a ton of gossip (I really did not need to know, but it was fun), and just laughed at all of the people who were more tipsy then myself! After the reunion we went to a local bar by our old high school, Kelly's Corner. All in all it was an okay time, but 10 years was so not long enough! **so funny too is how Kelly B was at the bar and we went to his house afterwards, hence Kelly in one of the pics**
Fall Festival
Last Friday the kids and I headed down to Camp Pendleton for the annual "Fall Festival." It is at the elementary school on base that Hailee and Tyler attend. This is the second year that I have attended, but the first where the kids were able to play games and watch shows with interest. Oh, and did I mention that Auntie Em is a part of the PTA as it's president! Those that know her are not surprised by this, well I am not either, but I laugh all of the time about it. The festival was so well organized, had a ton of food, games for the kids, a silent auction, ponies to ride, a petting zoo, face painting and my favorite all of the... Marines with their air crafts (of I knew the name of them I would write them...haha). All of our kids (Em and mine) had a great time and I think they were very successful with the financial part. For myself, this is a very special event, not only because of my family, but because the money raised helps provide so many activities for the children of deployed men and women. It makes me a little teary.
Just sitting on the couch:)
Last Thursday while I was sitting on the couch watching the Red Sox come back in the 9th inning (too bad for SUnday!) I decided that I would not get off of the couch, but take pictures of the kids in my favorite clothes..diapers! Emma loves to stand on her princess chair and drew loves to watch ball games with Daddy and Mommy, so it was fun just to sit and hang out with them before we started our VERY busy weekend! Just put the browser over the pictures to see what I wrote:)
Connor is 3!!! I can not believe it!
Connor turned the big 3 on Sunday the 19th! He was the luckiest three year old because he got to celebrate it (along with the last 3 weeks) in Hawaii! We got an email from Suzie and Dale telling all of his family and friends what a great time he had with Suzie, Dale, Hannah and Grandma Linda. They got to hang out at the beach all day, Connor boogie boarded, they went the Oceanaquirum for dinner and ate ice cream. We can not wait to see Connor and Dale when they get home, oh and at their PARTY!!!

I am hooked!
I am so hooked to the computer!!1 I really do not want to be, but I guess I am. I never thought in a million years that I would be on facebook or have a blog, buy things online or even look at utube! Alas, I am hooked, but love it!! I have been in contact with old friends and happy about it (haha) and I love to share my family with others. I just never thought that I would be like this, but I am happy it has happened. xoxoxo

We missed them!!!
Today we were suppose to go to Irvine Park to see the amazing pumpkin patch, but the WIND! Yes, it is so windy here that we could not go get pumpkins!!!! Instead, Auntie Sara and Madi came to our very messy house and played:) It is amazing to see how three little ones can destroy any area and the mommies just clean it up:)
Fun Time!

A Wonderful Friday NIght
So, tonight we had what I would describe as..perfectly balanced. Derek came home from work then I went running. I went and grabbed dinner, watched the start of the Sox game with Emma on my lap. Since it was a beautiful fall evening, I got the children dressed in jackets and pants and headed for a long walk..well for them:) While I was gone with the kids Derek took a shower and relaxed. After our walk was done we headed out for a drive to look at houses that are decorated for Halloween...the kids just kept saying, "more lights." Then we headed to the ice cream shop for 'treats.' Everyone in the shop was laughing at Emma and Drew, because they were so messy by the end!!! Now that we are home, Drew and Emma are asleep and Derek is across the street having some guy time (ya know..baseball talk, drinking bud light while standing in a circle around the BBQ. I am cleaning and on the computer. It was just fully GREAT!!

A house DIVIDED!
Yes, the Red Sox did win!!!!! I know you all love my team! haha. Thank you for all of the FRIENDLY text over the past few days, but those loving words were nothing compared to the tension within the four walls of the Lee house! In fact, I could not talk or cheer for my fab team, but boy did I hear it when the Sox messed up or lost!! When the game was over and the Sox won Derek decided that my prized Red Sox blanket should go on the roof!! It will stay like that until he decides to get it down, cuz I am afraid of ladders and not 7 feet tall!
Oh the change of the season

Oh Hawaii!!
Just picture this...you could be in Hawaii for 3 weeks with your family and the cost is so little that there is no way in this will probably happen again. Does this really happen???? Well, it did for the Dale Lee family!! Right now they are living it up in Hawaii and they are having soooo much fun. They are so blessed to have this happen to them!!!! Here are a few pictures that they sent a few days ago showing off their good time. Oh yeah, and Derek's mom Linda decided yesterday that they were having way too much fun without her on that beautiful beach and in the blue water that she is heading there for a few days towards the end of their trip! Too funny!!!
