A few weekends ago we have a fun Halloween themed block party and the next night we continued the fun with movie night. Our neighbor Alisha came up with the idea and I must say, it was awesome (just one more reason I love this street!). We watched Monster House, we had the leftover chili and goodies from the block party to eat, Issac pulled out his fog machine to add to the cold, dark, and spooky night. It was a blast! The kids loved laying outsdie with there friends! I can not wait until Christmas time when we cuddle up for Elf!

Pumpkin Patch #1
I LOVE fall. I think each year I fall more in love with this time of year. I love all of the colors, smells, food, parties, and of course all of cool things to do and see!
The MC goes to the pumpkin patch every year and the kids seem to have a lot of fun there. I, however, am not a fan AT ALL of this particular patch. It is over priced (4 dollars to jump in one of the 4 bounce houses...we got a discount though), the pumpkins are not the best quality, it is a little too hot and the owner (who calls us every year to come) is very strict with the kids (not so nice about it either). I am a hard-ass with my kids, but she is a little on the yelling/crazy side. Why do we go there? I think because it is in our town and we try to keep our activities local (like visiting the firehouse). As much as I am not a fan, all that matters is that the kids are together and having fun. Mike even made it with his kiddos while Erin was in the hospital. I did feel a little sorry for him because we were all asking questions about Erin and her first c-section....,poor Erin, but that baby would not turn! Anyways, there are turkey's and chicks, pony rides, a petting zoo, a hay maze, and of course pumpkins!
**of course lilly was trying to climb up the back of the big slide**

Jog-a-Thon
Here Bubby is........"I just felt like RUNNIN."
Going,
Going,
Going,
Gone!
Drew's school had their jog-a-thon a few weeks ago and it was one of the strangest things I have seen in awhile. All of the kids faces were red, girls were holding hands while walking/running, and a little boy was crying (not while running). It was kind of a hot mess! And their reward for a hard 45 minutes of running/jogging/walking/skipping was a sucker:) Man if I ate a sucker or any sort of candy after I ran I would feel like I need to fun more! haha, awe youth!
The kids had fun, they raised a ton of money, and of course played a lot of VERY LOUD MUSIC!
**his class is not this big! early & late birds are together for this. there are usually only 16 kids**

Baby Party for Erin
A week before Erin add the baby Lucus, my MC threw her a little party. Not all of us came, but I thought it would be a great idea to show her how much we care about her, Mike and her kiddies. So on a Wednesday at 10am...we had a party! Thank you all that came!
Guess who got her some wine? Hey, it is what she wanted!! haha

Big Boy Tackles Some Big Homework
I have yet to post Drew's first day of school pictures (they are on my phone), but for those of you that were wondering....yes, he is in school! I knew this day would happen, but I was not really prepared for all of the PAPERWORK!! His school is a "Green School" so a lot of fliers and such as sent once a week to our inboxes, but we still get sooooo many hard copies!
To add to the endless amount of information that I end up throwing away, is homework! That I do not throw away! The below photos are of Drew doing his VERY FIRST homework assignment. At first he was so happy to have homework. Then about 10minutes into cutting he was tired and needed to finish it later. Yeah, that did not work. So his tired little fingers had to keep cutting and pasting until the assignment was completed.
I am not sure he quite gets that he is going to have homework for the next 12 to possibly 20 something years!

The newest Giangrande!
Hello baby Giangrande!
My friend Erin had a health baby boy via c-section (he did not want to turn and the cord was wrapped around his next). Lucas was 7.4pds at birth and I can not wait to see him, Mike, Erin, Liz, and Nicolas soon!
Something strange, as a side note. I have known Mike since elementary school and Erin since high school. It is strange how friendships start or restart when you see each other all of the time and spend time together through your kids. I see them more than I see my own family! I always thought Erin was so quite, but ya know she really is not. Just so strange this thing called life!

Family Day, Lee Style
Such a crazy windy day at Bolsa Chica State Beach one fine July day! I swear the windy weather seems to be what us Lee's get whenever we have a family day at the beach. Thank goodness for the motor home!
It is always nice to see everyone, but I think I was having a breakdown that day and really did not want to be there....but sitting watching the boys fly a huge kite of Dale's (literally had to hold down Max and Skylar so they would not blow away!) the kids playing in the sand and the beautiful view that God has created for us, well...I got in a better mood! Thank you God!

Grant Turns 1!
The weekend after Lilly's party we had Grant's first birthday party to attend. DeAnne always does a fabulous job and is so crafty! I wish I could be like her:) haha. She has been planning this party since I think the minute he was born!
Yummy sliders were made by Ryan and I think Lilly ate four or five cookies from the dessert bar...her poop was a combo of colors for a few days!! The bounce house was a hit because that is where Em stayed for the entire 2.5 hours we were there! Drew stayed at home with Patty and Clint who came down last minute. It was just too fun to see kids 4 yrs old and under trying to break the pinata...DeAnne finally had to just rip it! Good times!
