Adrianna

My birthday present from last year turned 1!!! Adrianna and I share the same birth date and when she was born last year I received a text from Tati that said,"here is your birthday present." Does that make her mine then? haha. Here are some pictures from her 'ladybug' party.

We love Cali!!!

It was a beautiful 75 at the beach a few weeks ago, so BEACH DAY we had!!!! Grandma, the girls, the boys, Aunt Cindy, Auntie Suzie and I took in the beauty of the water, sun, sand, and kids laughing for about 4 hours then off for dinner followed by a VERY cold walk back to the car where we learned that Linda locked her keys in the car. It has been a few weeks now and I kid you not Drew brings up, "mom, remember the day at the beach that me friend grandma's car did not work?" day almost everyday....he laughs when he says it too:) Drew also loves that I have my 'dress suit' as a bathing suit. Oh kids:)

Tea Party 2010

When I called to tell my mom I took Drew to a Tea Party, she thought it was a an actual 'tea party' with cups full of tea and tea sandwiches. However, that was not the case. I am in NO WAY a crazy conservative that many believe attend tea party rallies, but I am a conservative that see's her husbands paycheck get larger over the years, but to pay WAY more in taxes yet to owe the state is just ridiculous! It was my first and prob last one, just not my thing...but in no way did I see any sort of "crazy conservatives there." It was an experience.

Emma

Here are some pictures I took of Em at ballet. Her first recital is in June and it should be exciting to see what she does. She just loves 'Ms. Brenda and the girls.' I am so happy we found this place!!!

SURPRISE!!!

On Saturday my wonderful husband and my bestie Sara 2 and her hubby threw me a SURPRISE 30th birthday party at Sara's. I had absolutely NO IDEA and when I walked through the door I think I cried for about an hour after!! I really thought we were just going to dinner and spend the night without the kids all around us. In fact, I was beginning to think that that is all we were going to do to ring in my 30th. Well, I was so wrong! Almost, everyone that I love and cherish were there and those that missed...I really missed you:( I still shake my head and think about how they got away with it....because I know EVERYTHING that goes on, haha! Here are a few pics that Casey took with his phone and when I get more I will post them. Thank you Derek, I truly love you:)

Claire is a BELLY DANCER!

Some people know that my Nanny, Auntie Deb and cousin Claire are all belly dancers, and if you did not then lift your jaw off of your chest. They are beautiful dancers and I thought I would share pictures of Claire. The last two are of her and Lilly (this past weekend) and Claire with Jo. They are the best cousins, so I thought I would share:)

Soccer!

Soccer has started! Just like basketball it is through the city. Drew loved it!! There are some of the same kids as basketball, but there are definitely MORE kids for soccer. I sat almost at the end not because I wanted to, but because I had to:( I got some shots that are not great because I was holding Lillian, but you can get the gist of it.

Easter 2010

Last week was all about Easter. Easter party, Easter shopping, Easter egg hunting, Easter service (also Good Friday & Maundy Thursday), and Easter candy, Easter bunny, and Easter dinner. A whole lot of Easter went on last week! Of course, we went to church and then came home to rest before Easter Dinner at Linda's. HOWEVER, this was not just the usual Easter ham and potato's....it as the first ESPN Sunday baseball game for the season!!!! Every year we go to Linda's to watch the game and eat her fab spaghetti & meatballs. We call this, "Derek's Annual ESPN Sunday Game of the Week Party at His Mommy's." With Easter and the game falling on the same day this year we just celebrated them both together. So ham and spaghetti it was!!!
There was also kite flying, bubbles, an egg hunt, and an EARTHQUAKE! Oh and did I mention the Red Sox and Yankee's were playing? Hence this shirt (do not focus on where the hands are too much) that Linda got me...it really pissed Derek and Dwayne off!! hahaha

Oh and did I also mention that the, "Yankee's Suck!!" Just thought I would throw that in there along with some pics from the day. We hope everyone had a great day!

Easter Egg Party

So, I am starting to really like the Mom's club that I joined back in Nov. At first I thought, "okay just let the kids play and chat with some of the moms, but that is it." Why would I put those restrictions? I am just too busy, don't need anymore friends, and frankly I do not have the emotional space anymore! I love hanging out with my family and my motto since Dec has been, 'I can not be everything to everyone.' However, I am slipping! I really like the mom's and since we all live so close I like seeing them around town, or at sports, I like talking to them and knowing that we all have so much in common has really helped me. I like real women that do not fluff everything up and so far they all seem that way. A few of the girls and our families are even going out of town in a few weeks! What happened to me not making friends!! haha. I just really like them and like the little parties we have for the kids. It is hilarious to see how many mom's have to run after their kids!!

Bubble Fest

So, maybe I am a dork, well Sara 2 too, but I love BUBBLES! It is something about them that makes me smile. I am not sure if it is the laugh or look a child gets when they play with them or how easy it is to let the time pass with a thing of bubbles?

We went to the Discovery Science Center on Tuesday to enjoy a TON of bubbles at the Bubble Fest going now until the 11th. It was a special 'Mommy & Me' day that was all about BUBBLES! Sara 2 and I had a great time watching the Fan Yang. The bubble master was awesome at creating bubbles, putting his hands in bubbles, blowing smaller bubbles into larger ones, making a bubble hat, and of course making the kids (and us adults) clap with joy and excitement. This elation was all because of soap and water....crazy! The show that ended like this! A ton of bubbles and fog! *we could not take pics during the show)

After the show we had some lunch and more science fun at the center, here are a few pics.
