The newest Giangrande!

Hello baby Giangrande!

My friend Erin had a health baby boy via c-section (he did not want to turn and the cord was wrapped around his next). Lucas was 7.4pds at birth and I can not wait to see him, Mike, Erin, Liz, and Nicolas soon!

Something strange, as a side note. I have known Mike since elementary school and Erin since high school. It is strange how friendships start or restart when you see each other all of the time and spend time together through your kids. I see them more than I see my own family! I always thought Erin was so quite, but ya know she really is not. Just so strange this thing called life!

Angry Birds

Derek sent this to me yesterday, he sooooo wants to do this! I do not know about anyone else, but I have been past Angry Birds for awhile now. It is all about WORDS!

Family Day, Lee Style

Such a crazy windy day at Bolsa Chica State Beach one fine July day! I swear the windy weather seems to be what us Lee's get whenever we have a family day at the beach. Thank goodness for the motor home!

It is always nice to see everyone, but I think I was having a breakdown that day and really did not want to be there....but sitting watching the boys fly a huge kite of Dale's (literally had to hold down Max and Skylar so they would not blow away!) the kids playing in the sand and the beautiful view that God has created for us, well...I got in a better mood! Thank you God!

 

 

Grant Turns 1!

The weekend after Lilly's party we had Grant's first birthday party to attend. DeAnne always does a fabulous job and is so crafty! I wish I could be like her:) haha. She has been planning this party since I think the minute he was born!











Yummy sliders were made by Ryan and I think Lilly ate four or five cookies from the dessert bar...her poop was a combo of colors for a few days!! The bounce house was a hit because that is where Em stayed for the entire 2.5 hours we were there! Drew stayed at home with Patty and Clint who came down last minute. It was just too fun to see kids 4 yrs old and under trying to break the pinata...DeAnne finally had to just rip it! Good times!

Aftermath!

For the past year, I keep forgetting to take pictures of all of my decorations before every party! I am frankly getting sick and tired of forgetting...so prior to the next party someone MUST remind me!!!

Lilly had her birthday party last month and it was a hit! The theme was Hello Kitty and she just had a blast! I am shocked at between hers and Em's party that there was not one, not a one, copy of Hello Kitty merchandise! The girls have Lego's, purses, stuff animals, pack packs, band aids, hair things, clothes, panties, and soooo much more that is just strictly Kitty, it is insane! I can not believe my baby is two! She runs now, you would never have guessed that she started walking at almost 20 months!

Here is the aftermath....I am so upset with myself! No god ones at all of all of my hard work! Nothing of the outside!

Life Touch

Maybe one day you will see my kids on the flier that comes to parents for picture day. Here are a few of the pictures that Life Touch (Linda is a rep)took of Em and Drew for practice. Not the best of Em, but THIS IS SOOO DREW! I only hope that today during his picture day his smile was just as big!

Big Buddy

This is Mia, Drew's "big buddy" at school. Mia requested Drew and when she got him as her 'little buddy' she was excited and so was Drew. He always says he will see her on Friday, even though they live two doors down, and has the biggest smile on that cute face of his.

This is Drew and Mia the other day when Drew gave her two flowers and a note saying he was so excited she was his 'big buddy!'

Pioneer Park

I love to go to different parks around the OC and Pioneer Park is for sure one of them. We went there prior to the start of school with my mom's group and had a blast playing on the 'pioneer themed' toys, swings, wagons, and water fountain.

Then two weeks ago I met up with Sara 2, Darci, and their girls for some more fun. However, it was a little overcast for the fountain for me, so we did not do that. Even though it was a bit of a drive it is really fun.

Momma is Breaking!

Missing a baseball game, three birthday parties, and now school! Drew being sick is not fun at all! He seems to be doing pretty well, but I can tell that he is getting stir crazy! My poor boy has a fever and a cold. There is no, "loading up with OTC meds and sending him on his way" done in this household...so momma is stuck at home with sicky! Now Lilly is sick and I think Derek is not feeling too well either. I am just waiting for Em to get sick, which will stink because she is really a honker!

OC Walk to Remember

There are a lot of different walks/run that people can participate in to show their passion for a cause. We all know big ones for cancer and MS and the OC Walk to Remember is a gaining momentum. Over the past few years I have only walked in one "walk," but I do make sure I give (a little amount) to this cause as well as prostate, MS, and ALS. Once again, I can not make the walk this year, but have hopes that those who read this would like to contribute in some way.

I have never had a miscarriage or lost a child at or close to it's birth, god forbid, but Kristen the founder has and wanted to have a forum to celebrate life and mourn the loss of their child. Kristen now has 3 beautiful children that my family is getting to know through ballet and I can say this without reserve, she is one of the best women I have ever met and Leah (on the front of the flier) is one of the cutest little 6 year olds ever! Pass it on!

CRAZY FUNNY!

Gross Freeway!

Many people want to come to see LA or Hollywood once in there lives. My second cousin asked me when I was back east last month, "oh my god, do you live by Hollywood, I really want to go there?" I replied, "oh sweetheart, you never want to go there, it is really gross." My cousin (her dad) conquered. I am not sure what to think of people that really want to go to Hollywood because it really is VERY DIRTY! The below pictures are just from the freeway! I wonder if I should do a blog post about the parking, homeless people all over the place (those that say "oh" while reading this have never seen it), old buildings that are falling apart, and the traffic! I am a historian and I have a hard time swallowing the history there because I have to plug my nose! I guess I am a real OC girl!:)

Seriously, LA/Hollywood, take more pride in your community!
