Playdate 6/26

Today the kids and I hung out with Suzie, Connor, Hannah, Sara 2, & Madison. It was very fun to have all of the kids get together and see the different levels they are all at. Baby Hannah is getting so dang big and Drew & Em just love her. Maddog even got an ouchy with blood! OH those boys!!!

4 Days w/ Hailee

We had so much fun the past four days w/ Hailee Jean! We went to lunch and dinners, had donuts (i did not), went for bike rides, watched movies at home and went to the movies to see Horton Hears a Who, of course I took her shopping, went to the Discovery Science Center to see 'grossology & bob the builder,' she wrestled with BoBo, and we went to the LB Aquarium. I was very sad to see her go home, but happy that we all got to have the time that we did have with her.

Kyle Lee Turns 12!

Does this boy look happy or what? Some of the family chipped in and got Kyle a X-Box 360 for his b-day!! Derek, myself and the kids could not be there, but I am happy the rest of the family was:) Lisa Lee had a party for him and even though it was one of the hottest days of the year there was the pool and a slip-n-slide (good job auntie michelle) and everyone seemed to have fun!

Typical Days

Thanks to Derek I am able to stay home with the kids. We have some lazy days, busy/hectic days and days when all we do is have fun! Here are some pics showing what we have been doing lately. With all of the pictures I take I think this is the best way I can show them:)

Potty Training..here we GO!

SO here is a pic of Drew sitting on his little potty and wearing his PAPA hat. HE has gone potty three times in one week and boy is he in control of when he wants to do it!! He wants to sit in the family room, with the TV on, and he prefers to eat while he goes 'pee pee on the potty.' Gotta love that!

Fathers Day

I have been slacking lately on the Blog stuff..what is new. We just do so much stuff that it is hard for me pic and chose what to put on here. SOOOO here is a few fathers day pics!! Lets me remember what we did...oh nothing!! Derek wanted to sit on the couch for most of the day, which is exactly what he did with Drew by his side while Em and I went shopping! Later that night we went over to our friends and had a BBQ, watched the Celtics and Angels games, I made the fathers there maggies, and the kids played ball! I hope Derek had a great time:)

Palm Desert!!

This past weekend I went to Palm Desert with four others mommies! It was a blast:) We went to the outlets in Cabazon, had lunch, headed to Embassy Suites, hung out in the room for a few hours...it was like 118 degrees outside...went to the Yard House for dinner, headed to a bar for some more drinking and fun! I really did have a fun time and it was amazing to know that even for a night without the kids or our hubbies...all we did was talk about our kids! Thanks Teren, Beck, Mariah and Caitlin for the GODD TIMES!!

Hannah is a week old!

Baby Hannah Raelynn is 1 week old today!! I got to see her over the weekend, but then I got really sick so I have not been able to see her. We love and miss seeing her already, even though it has only been a few days. I am a nut like that:)

She wants to walk

Emma is 10 months now and boy does she want to go and go with her brother! She loves to stand at the coffee table, take a bath with Drew, crawl outside and stand in her crib. We know that she will walk very soon , but I am not sure that I am ready for that. I think we need another baby:)

Hannah is Here!

HANNAH IS HERE! We love her oh so much! 7.4 pds, 19.34 in lengh, and born on the 3rd of June at 12:55 pm. Connor is so excited to have her here and my kids just look at her and say "Hannah is a baby?" We are so blessed to have both of our kids be so close in age to their cousins. Hannah is adorable and I know she will only get cuter.

Weekend of FUN!!! 5-16

I know that we are a very busy family, but this last weekend will for sure go into the record books!! We did it ALL and survived. Derek came when he could , so I think that was the only way I really survived!! Start...playdate with Auntie Suzie & Connor (wed).. playdate/lunch with Auntie Sara 2 & Madison, then Papa D came over (thursday).. lunch for Becky's 29th birthday at Olive Garden with the kids and her mom Mrs. Hansen followed by Kyle Parker's 30th b-day dinner at Bari Bari (friday)..Johanna's graduation party (3 hours in traffic there, 2 back) at El Torito followed by Dave Z's joint 30th b-day party with his Aunt 60th Judy, followed by our friends Al & Melissa son Christophers b-day party (saturday)...end!!! Throw in errands, naptime, & cleaning what you get is a very busy few days!!! WE WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANYOTHER WAY. We love to do all of this and happy that everyone loves to see us and the kids. Thanks again for a lovely weekend.

Johanna Graduates from CLU!!

Johanna Graduates from CLU!! On Saturday May 17th Jo graduated from California Lutheran University with a degree in HISTORY! After the graduation (which we did not attend) there was a lunch fiesta for Jo at EL Torito, also in the Thousand Oaks. We had a very nice time even though it was in the 100's! Good job Jo and know this, we are very proud of you and love you very much.

Mommy Day

On my third Mother's Day we did not do much! We walked to the cirlce, had an early lunch, went to my mom's house where we had another lunch, then headed home. The kids were good all day long and even went to bed without much of a fuss..they never do anyways. We hope that all of the mommies we know had a very good day and know that we love you and thought about you:)

Suzie's Baby Shower

On the 4th of May Suzie had her baby shower to honor herself and Hannah. It was thrown by all of the Aunties and Grandma's. It was a beautiful day (a little windy) and the seeting was great. It weas held down the street from our house at the French Estate. Suzie and Hannah recieved many gifts ranging from keepsakes, clothes to hair things and Super women flip flops. Thanks to all that helped with the shower and for those that were able to attend. It was a fun day and I know that day got Suzie extremely excited about setting up Hannah's room and getting her clothes ready!!

Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on.Pooped on.Chewed on.Peed on.I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.I slept all night. Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.Or give shots.I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom,I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom,I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. Before I was a Mom, I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
