I am so bummed that my Max is leaving! She and Sophia will be joining Evan in North Carolina! I am very excited for her to experience this next chapter in her life with baby and Evan, but that does not mean I can not hate it at the same time. I feel like I just got her back, since she finished her PHd at UCLA and actually has time for life outside of the lab. **Bright side, Mar is coming back next month! My academic friends and their traveling lives!**
To wish her luck, talk, and get get a well deserved "time out" from our kids...we went to sushi! Saki, sushi, talking, closing the restaurant, then closing the bar we went to next made for a great time. We really did not drink, just talked! I will miss her!
